Advantages and Disadvantages of Web ButtonsAs with any form of Internet advertising, there are advantages and disadvantages to advertising with web buttons. By thinking through these pros and cons, you as the advertiser will know better if web buttons are the right option for your needs.DisadvantagesThe main disadvantage to Internet buttons is that they are smaller than banner ads. This might mean that you cannot fit quite as much information in the ad.
